What equipment do I need to be able to take lessons?Our 1-to-1 lessons are run through the online video platform Whereby, which means you won't need to download any software to join your lesson. After you book, we'll send you a website link. Simply visit that website at the time of your lesson and you'll join the class directly from your browser. All you will need is: A computer, laptop, tablet, or phone equipped with a camera or webcam. Your instrument. A stable internet connection.

How do I set up my equipment?For singing lessons, you only need to show the top half of your body to the camera. For others, position your camera so that your instrument and hands will be clearly visible to your tutor. If you’re not sure of the best angle, your tutor will be able to advise. It goes without saying, but make sure that your device is placed securely. You don’t want to be knocking your laptop while it’s balanced on the end of your piano!

Who are lessons suitable for?Lessons are suitable for all abilities and ages 6+. Please note that our tutors teach in English and are based in London, UK.

How much do lessons cost?The cost of lessons is the same for all instruments. Your first lesson is available at a discount: 30 minutes - £15 45 minutes - £23 1 hour - £30 After that, regular lessons are sold in blocks of 4: 4 x 30 minutes - £92 (£23 per lesson) 45 minutes - £138 (£34.50 per lesson) 1 hour - £184 (£46 per lesson)

Who will I be taught by?Lessons at London School of Music are led by a number of experienced, friendly, and fun tutors. From Olly, a BBC Radio 1 featured artist, to Doug, a teacher with 15 years experience, to Michael, a drummer who’s taught across the globe.
